The infinity symbol in this design is special because it has been adopted by the autism and neurodiversity movement to represent the vast spectrum of individuals and abilities within it. I'm the proud mom of a son with autism and loved the idea of incorporating the symbol into a pantograph design.
This pantograph certainly does not have to be reserved only for quilts with math or for autism-themed quilts. The infinity symbol is subtle enough to be used to complement any top.
